Martha has been involved with Special Olympics New Jersey for approximately 17 years. She started bocce as an official, then was asked to be a Unified partner 7 years ago. She also was on the bocce committee for the 2014 USA Games in New Jersey and in 2018 USA Games in Seattle, Washington, as a Unified partner for Team New Jersey. Upon receiving her letter to tryout again for the 2022 USA Games in Orlando, she gave it another shot to represent and tryout. Martha is excited to bring home a medal on behalf of Team New Jersey!
