Jay has been involved in Special Olympics all his life but started coaching when he was 17 years old. He grew up in Rutherford where he was involved in swimming, soccer and baseball. As a sophomore in high school, Jay began coaching as an assistant coach of the Penguins, Bergen County Area 12’s swim team. He is now a Head Coach of the Penguins and was honored to be an assistant coach of the 2017 Team New Jersey swim team.
